The Thanksgiving meal will be hot and served immediately to those in need. “This program is about the least we could do for people in need,” said Rev. Brian Anza, president of the mission. “We are committed to a more compassionate and compassionate City of Victorville.”

The Waterman’s Food Bank Thanksgiving Dinner will be served to start at 11:00 am, and the event runs through 3:00 pm. To receive the Thanksgiving Dinner, please call The Waterman’s Food Bank of San Bernardino at (909) 457-8447, and mention that you are a San Bernardino County resident and would like to participate.

The San Bernardino County Fairgrounds Thanksgiving Dinner will be offered beginning November 23 and runs through December 3 on payments for $10. This program is for residents of the High Deserts who are interested in a free turkey.

Senator Bradford’s 2022 Drive Thru Boxed Food & Turkey Giveaway — Torrance

Free turkeys and food boxes will be distributed to residents of the 35th legislative district thanks to a collaboration between Senator Steven Bradford, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and the El Camino College Foundation. Each automobile will receive a turkey or pork roast free of charge as long as stocks remain. The line begins to develop at about nine in the morning and may be found in the parking lot B on the El Camino College campus. Lighthouse of Hope Foundation Inc. — Riverside

Come and enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal on November 27 at the Riverside campus of Lighthouse of Hope Foundation, Inc. The Thanksgiving Dinner will be served to those in need through the following locations. On November 19, between 10 am and 2 pm, the Lighthouse of Hope Foundation Inc. will distribute more than one hundred turkeys, food boxes, clothing, and music, to families in the Inland Empire. The group will also host a free community Thanksgiving feast on November 19 at 3 pm. The Thanksgiving Dinner will be served to those in need through the following locations.

The Lighthouse of Hope Foundation is also giving away turkeys that are ready for pickup in Hesperia on November 20 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. The Lighthouse of Hope Foundation will also serve a free Thanksgiving Dinner on November 27 from 10 am until 3 pm at the Riverside campus.

The annual Thanksgiving Day Food Giveaway is a new tradition started in 2014 to help the needy during the holiday season. Each year, it has grown in size and attendance. More than one hundred thirty turkeys will be given out to needy families on Thanksgiving Day as other holiday food. The main aim is to feed the hungry. The Thanksgiving Day Food Giveaway is hosted by the American Red Cross of San Bernardino County but will be aired on the radio station. The program will air from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

District 62 Annual Drive-Thru Turkey Giveaway — Gardena

On November 13, from 10 am to 2 pm, residents of the Gardena area will have the opportunity to pick up a free turkey to help enjoy with their family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner. The District 62 Annual Drive-Thru Turkey Giveaway will be hosted by School District 62 at the Gardena Valley Recreation Centre. 

Residents must show proof that they live within the boundaries of Gardena Unified School District 62. At the annual drive-thru Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway hosted by District 62 this year at the Community Worship Centre in Gardena, you may win a free turkey for your Thanksgiving meal. 

Families arrive in their cars at the Community Worship Centre, and staff members escort them to the turkeys once inside. While they wait in line to receive the turkeys, they are given refreshments to enjoy.

It is providing a free Thanksgiving day dinner for the community on November 26 at the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Pavilion located at San Manuel Blvd. In addition, the Inland Empire Chinese Association will host a free community breakfast on November 23 from 9 am-11 am at the same location as the Thanksgiving meal.

The Alameda Neighborhood Association is hosting a Thanksgiving Day Food Drive in Walnut Park. All residents living within the boundaries of the Alameda neighbourhood are invited to bring non-perishable food items to be distributed by volunteer members of the Association at Thanksgiving Dinner on November 26, 11:00 am. 

La Alameda Thankful For You Turkey Giveaway — Walnut Park program will run while needed, and all food will be given away to those in need during Thanksgiving dinner. The Alameda Neighborhood Association is hosting a Thanksgiving Day Food Drive in Walnut Park. The Food Bank of the Inland Empire is hosting its 4th annual Thanksgiving and Christmas program at its offices on November 26, from 11 am-4 pm. Families in need of assistance will receive free turkeys, ham, and other grocery items. 

Residents are also invited to bring non-perishable items for a $1 donation to help support this effort. This annual turkey giveaway will take place on November 14 at Plaza La Alameda, and everyone who attends will receive a ticket that can be used for a free turkey. The City of Inglewood offers a free Thanksgiving dinner to needy families on November 26. The meal includes turkey, ham, vegetables, and two side dishes. There will be no cost to the families that receive this meal.

Inglewood also offers other events and programs during the holiday season. There is a free Christmas Dinner on December 25, at the Nativity Lutheran Church. The meal will include turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, pie, and drinks. 

Free tickets are required to attend this event, and all children under 12 years will be given a ticket when they come to the dinner. No adults are allowed without a ticket. Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Inglewood gives away free turkeys to its residents. 

Turkeys, a bag of sides, and additional goodies donated by Pepsi, Frito-Lay, and Snoop Dogg are distributed to each of the 2,500 Inglewood citizens served by the event. Don Lee Farms generously provided the turkeys. This will be a drive-through-only event. There will be no walk-up sales. Registration in advance is essential to attend.

The city of Gardena is hosting its annual turkey giveaway on Thanksgiving day. The giveaway will take place at La Maida Park on November 26 from 11 am- 2 pm. Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation — Central LA

On Sunday, November 26, 50 senior citizens from the city of Los Angeles will receive a turkey to celebrate Thanksgiving. The Dodgers foundation also provided holiday meals to the homeless and food bank donations across Southern California.

On November 27, Citrus Valley Health Partners will host its annual Thanksgiving dinner at Citrus Valley Medical Centre in Moreno Valley. Approximately 1,000 people are expected to attend this event, which will give away 2,500 turkeys to those who need one. 

At Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation has been giving away turkeys yearly for the past 16 years.
