Mission Gate Prison Ministry

The Christmas Angel Mission is a program that the Mission Gate Prison Ministry provides for the children of inmates and formerly incarcerated individuals in St. Louis County.

These children are given gifts for Christmas as part of a program that aims to help provide greater stability to their homes over the holiday season. These households have also been invited to attend the annual Christmas party held in St. Louis and Steelville, Missouri, where they will receive free food, gifts, and entertainment.

Another way this charity seeks to assist families is by providing a Christmas gift pack, which includes a toy and a food basket. This program has been a huge success in St. Louis, Missouri, and has been running for many years.

The St. Louis Area Agency on Aging helps to provide food and other necessities for the elderly in St. Louis, Missouri. They also offer free health care and counseling services to low-income seniors, which can be accessed through the local offices that they maintain in the area.

The agency provides an Emergency Assistance Program that gives financial aid to seniors who need it to cover their expenses during the holidays.

St louis county Missouri health and human services

County of Saint Louis Adopt-A-Family is a Christmas program offered by Missouri Human Services. Participants can receive assistance with food, clothing, home items, toys, and more.

The program is not limited to the recipients but also benefits those willing to give. Families in need can include themselves in their wish lists and then send for the gift to be delivered at Christmas time. They have reached out to families in the area and others nationwide.

It also provides a Christmas Box Program that provides affordable gifts. Underprivileged children in the area are identified and referred to the program, which matches them with sponsors. A gift that is suited to their age and gender is then provided.

The Adopt-A-Family Committee of St. Louis County also assists. The organization is tasked with giving gifts to families in need on a Christmas tree lot. They try to collect donations for these people so they can buy gifts for one another for Christmas.

Salvation army assistance programs In St Louis city and county

Angel Tree is a program run by the Salvation Army that assists less fortunate families throughout the holiday season. During the registration process, low-income families compile a list of the gifts their household desires most to receive for the holiday season. This list is then given to contributors, who purchase the goods on the list and then deliver them to the family just before Christmas.

Depending on the locality and the available resources, the Christmas programs may offer various things, from meals to gifts or toys for children participating in Angel Tree programs. Silver Bells also offers a food delivery service and can assist those who are homebound or elderly and cannot leave their homes.

Get some games, gift cards, books, or other educational material for school and other useful and appropriate items for Christmas. Or free decorations, gifts, and other items for children in the Saint Louis area to put in their stockings. Or the turkey feasts that are traditionally served on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
