- Families must have children under the age of 17 residing in the household.
- Families must reside inside Rancho Cordova’s city limits or the close vicinity OR they must have children enrolled in schools within Rancho Cordova’s city limits from the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Elk Grove Unified School District, or Sacramento City Unified School District.

Bait Package Program
In 2015, the Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) of the RCPD established a bait package campaign. The bait package program is an active police strategy to stop thefts and safeguard our citizens. In response to national statistics that suggest there are more instances of package theft over the holiday season, RCP#rD was the first agency in the Sacramento area to implement the program. The Rancho Cordova Municipal Code states that the City may impose fines for unauthorized marijuana cultivation.
